Darling Harbour (Sydney) – located on the western outskirts of Sydney’s central business district (CBD), this harbor is a large recreational and pedestrian area that has a number of attractions. This was previously the city’s rail yards, before it went through a period of neglect, an revitalization in recent times. Current attractions there range from the Harbourside Shopping Centre, to the Australian National Maritime Museum, Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Wildlife World, Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Entertainment Centre, TV studios, The Star Casino & Entertainment Complex, and various retail shops.
