Vanity Nightclub (26 Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland) – this is one of the Gold Coast’s major clubbing venues (similar in style and status to Marquee in Sydney) – catering to both individuals partygoers & drinkers, and VIP bottle service groups. Like Marquee, this is a DJ-driven nightspot, playing everything from Top 40 pop, to R&B, Hip Hop, and Electro House music.

Downstairs, Civic Underground boasts a state of the art sound system and is home to Future Classic events every month on a Saturday night, open until 5 am.

This club is connected to the “Marquee” in Las Vegas and New York (USA), and books some of the same big-name international DJs that appear there, too – from Kaskade, to Avicii, Chuckie, Dirty South, LMFAO, Steve Aoki, and others. Like its U.S. branches, this Marquee also holds various celebrity and VIP events.

Heritage Belgian Beer Café (135 Harrington Street, The Rocks, Sydney) – this café offers all the pleasures of an authentic Belgian beer drinking experience, without the need to fly to Brussels. Heritage features glowing mahogany-stained solid oak, engraved bar stools, beveled mirrors, vintage beer posters and etched glass. The interior pieces (tables, chairs, antique tiles, wood paneling, bar, mirrors, old stove, etc) were imported from Belgium. The look is designed to replicate the traditional Belgian Bistro and has been recreated from architectural salvage – mostly with vintage pieces from the 1900s to the 1940s.
